#oldfogie

Very often my posts are precipitated by something in the news or an issue my friends and I are having in the sandwich that we call our lives. Sometimes they are very personal and very often, I pontificate about how smart we are, now that our experience has outlived our hair color.

Sometimes I Just Can’t Think

Is it age, is it worry, is it stress? Are there just too many things that have gotten put into my 51 year-old brain and it’s just saying, “Hold up a minute, I’m full”?I know that more often than not, these days I just can’t think.

My inspiration for this post came right out of an article that I read recently on what to call those of us who are north of 48 years old. I get even more offended when I hear that some companies have no interest in associating with us “old people.”

Job Hunting Ain’t for Sissies!
