We learned today that ABC’s beloved Good Morning America Anchor Robin Roberts, one of our favorite Boomers, has again been discharged from the hospital. She had been there for a week, fighting a virus. Lots of us are fighting viruses right now, but Robin recently underwent a bone marrow transplant, the marrow donated by her sister, and her immune system is still rebuilding itself. A bug we might be able to fight with a round of antibiotics put Robin back in the hospital. Thankfully, she is okay.
We don’t watch a lot of TV late at night because the news is too depressing. So one night when hubby and I were in bed looking for something for something funny to watch before going to sleep, we hit on “Big Bang Theory.” I admit we had never watched it because we thought it was a 20-something show.
